During my apprenticeship with the Japanese 'mukansa' master swordsmith Kunihira Kawachi (Soshu-Miyairi and Bizen-Sumitani) I learned a lot about the making of Japanese blades. To get some idea about my life as an apprentice, have a look at the Japan report.
