Forging the Jordan way
The internet knife magazine The Finer Edge published a series of articles called "Forging the Jordan way" between November 2006 and May 2007. This is the co-production team that was responsible for the series: Hans Brons (photographer) on my right and Toni Oostendorp (writer) on my left.

The Sword - myth and reality
Thomas Laible wrote Das Schwert - Mythos und Wirklichkeit (2006) about swords and sword making and included some of my work in his publication.Knives Illustrated
In the February 2006 issue of Knives Illustrated the show report of the Spirit of Steel show in Dallas mentioned the International Cutting Championship Trial.

On Dutch television: the documentary "Messen"

In 2003 and 2004 the Dutch television showed the 30 minutes documentary about my work called "Messen" ("Knives") made in October 2003. It was broadcast on 7. October 2003 and 19. and 23. July 2004. Director Peter Swart followed the whole process of me forging and finishing a pattern-welded knife. The whole program can be viewed (in Realplayer) here. |
In print: "Le damas, ou l'art du feu et de l'acier"
In October 2003 Gilles Bongrain's book on "Damascus, or the art of fire and steel" was published, it includes an explanation of the making of one of my early Saex blades.

"Büchsenmacher - Messer und Schere" (11/2003) published the Rüsselsheim 2003 show report.
"Excalibur" (no 29) published the Thiers 2003 show report.
"La Passion des Couteaux" (no 76) published the Thiers 2003 show report.
"Messer Magazin" (1/2003) published the show report of IMA 2002 (München) where my blade won the Best of Show award.
"Messer Magazin" (5/2002) published my work also in issues about the Sindelfingen show and the Hilfsaktion of the DMG.
