    The Bushmaster AKA "Betty"

The Bushmaster snake is one of the nastiest creatures that live in the jungle. The venum is horribly dangerous. Bushmasters have been recorded to follow their prey and strike anything passing. This knife has a history with the Jordan family as it was carried in the Far East during WWII by my uncle Syd when he was attached to the Ghurkas. The original design is my grandfather's, with updates from myself to make it a 21st century warefare knife. It has been used austensively used in Birma, Thailand and Africa.

The problem with indigenous parangs, goloks, kukris and machettes is that they don't have hand protection for close fighting. The addition of a guard increases survivability greatly. Because of one great tool: parry- bind- riposte.

See the pictures and  a short film of the Bushmaster in her natural habitat and back in Burma, cutting bamboo and using the spear skeleton knife.
